a 1.5 year old kid kicking footie balls into his toy box and he gets it in every time. I mean my 3yr old niece can’t even kick a ball to a target yet. I guess that’s why this little chap has been offered a 10year contract with a first division Dutch football team.

This song says a lot about how I’ve been feeling lately but not because of a break-up. For reasons that are complicated to explain and reasons that sound nuts in my mind so I can only imagine how nuts it will sound in someone else’s mind.

That time of year again - Christmas
That time of year has come again when people are rushing around looking for last minute gifts, putting up last minute decorations on their Christmas tree, looking for the biggest and juiciest looking turkey etc etc.
Christmas is a Christians holiday where they honour the birth of Jesus. I get that. Every religion has a holiday where they honour the birth of their equivalent of Jesus. What I don’t get is this: If Christmas (celebrated by Christians) is a public holiday then why aren’t other religions equivalent of Christmas also public holidays? I mean is the Christian religion ranked so superior to other religions that Christmas can be deemed public holiday worthy?
I brought up this question and I got the most ridiculous response from someone. They claim that because Christianity is the most ‘followed’ religion it makes sense that Christmas would be ’worth’ of being deemed a public holiday (his words not mine). I’m sorry but I have never heard such a load of bullshit in a long time. It doesn’t mean you have the most followers you get ‘special treatment.’ I mean take politics for instance: you have a political party Z with the most followers therefore making that party the ruling party in a country. The fact that they have the most followers doesn’t mean that they are necessarily ‘worthy’ of being the leading political party. You could have political parties D,G,H who all stand for something more meaningful yet because political party Z promises that the heavens will open up and give everyone everything they ever need they have a mass following (okay I know this has nothing to do with the original topic but I’m venting so deal with it). Okay so back to the topic at hand…
You know how some people have a problem with white people or black people or Indian people and are referred to as being racist. Well I think the fact that a Christian holiday gets to be a public holiday and other religions equivalent is racist towards religions :P yes I just said that and I’m going to be vain and say that I know that I mak an excellent point and if anyone wants to challenge me on their opinion bring it on :)

4 year ago just after his 3rd birthday and just after my grandpa passed away my little nephew Umair (Meickey) was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome. In short he has a kidney condition.
He’s been going to India for about 2 years now for herbal treatment together with his steroid treatment. He hadn’t had a single relapse in about a year and then suddenly he started going downhill and he’s officially gone into relapse.
I ask myself how God/Allah can be so cruel to this little boy. Making him suffer so much. A little boy who’s missing out on so much of his childhood all because he has this cruel disease. Where some children spend most of their time riding bikes, playing outside, going to school and then you have Meickey who had spent a lot of his time in doctors offices, treatment centers, sick in bed etc.
People always say that God always has a reason for what happens in life. Well I would really like to know what the reason for Meickey being sick is. Can someone please explain it to me. Maybe Allah would like to send me a vision or a message to help me understand this because right now I don’t see how this is going to benefit this little angel. And people shouldn’t even bother telling me all this bullshit about how one day the reason will be revealed.
For 4 years I have seen this precious little child go through so much. He’s been on steroids (and still is), he gets hyper, when he gets angry he really does get angry, he had to eat bland food (no salt which means no chips, no biscuits etc) he’s been poked and prodded by doctor after doctor but through it all he has managed to always have a smile on his face and a laugh and personality that lights up an entire room.
Meickey I love you and I know that there isn’t a lot I can do for you but I can hope and pray that you get better and don’t have to go through this any longer.
